A Creative Soul in Stowe, Vermont

I know this isn't news but I LOVE Vermont. We try to get down there once a year to spend some time in Burlington and Stowe. Stowe is the cutest little town in northern Vermont. It’s overlooked by Mount Mansfield, known for its trails and ski slopes. We used to take annual snowboarding trips for our anniversary there but we have been visiting in the summer in recent years and have started taking the family. Our first stop is always Black Cap Coffee & Beer to get a coffee for our touring around. We then walk over to Stowe Mercantile. There is the cutest women's clothing store upstairs ...

A Creative Soul in Oka, Quebec

Have you ever been to Oka, Quebec? We hadn't until last weekend and were quite impressed. We were invited there by friends to go camping for an extended weekend and we weren't sure what to expect but we loaded up the tent trailer, the two youngest girls and off we went. The New Art Festival 2018

There is nothing I like more then spending the afternoon (or the day if I can) at an art or craft fair. There were so many things happening this weekend it was really hard to choose as the Etsy - Made in Canada craft fair and 613 Flea was happening at Landsdowne but I decided to go to The New Art Festival since I hadn't been in a couple years. I can't believe how quickly I got this post up (thank goodness for sleepovers to keep the little one busy) but for those of you who catch it today, it might entice you to head down there tomorrow because as usual, it did not disappoint and I am all ...
