High Tea Birthday Party

Our little ginger turned 7 this year. I know we all say this but time really does fly by. We think those little quirks and phases our kids are going through are going to last forever. Like when Amelia used to build these elaborate 3-D animals, houses and dragons out of white paper and tape (which constantly covered the living room). I felt at the time that there wouldn't be a day where she wasn't making them. Wild Birthday Party

Our youngest was turning 6 this year and insisted on having a wolf birthday party.  She is obsessed with them for some reason at the moment, she says they are her spirit animal, haha. I figured it would be hard and not to mention a bit much, to have a full on wolf party so I managed to convince her to have a Wild Birthday Party with other animals as well. Amelia wanted me to make her an Amigurumi cow and Amelia wanted me to make her an Amigurumi cow and told her there was no way since I mostly crochet straight lines. With her encouragement I decided to try an easier bee pattern. 4 hours later, this is what I ended up with. A few mistakes, but it’s cute! I may be addicted.
