Come join me out at my country studio this Saturday afternoon in Luskville for a jewellry class and refreshments. The class will be taught by the lovely and talented Tanya McCormick.
Tanya is a self-taught jewellery designer who has been working with metal and gemstones for over 25 years. Her passion for copper is showcased in the way she transforms wire and sheet metal into stunning works of wearable art. Her statement pieces are all original designs which she sketches and are then created using different metal smithing techniques. Tanya has participated in several art shows over the years including ArtFest Ontario, Fantasy in the forrest (Kingston) and Originals Ottawa to name a few. She is also very active in the art’s community as a teacher, offering a wide range of jewellery design and mixed media classes throughout the Pontiac region and through her home studio as well.
This fun workshop will have you twisting wire and gemstones in interesting ways to create a stunning bracelet. Each guest will make 1 bracelet using an assortment of gemstones and copper wire.
