We are super excited to announce that we have partnered with our friends and neighbours at Leystone Farms to bring you FARM RAISED CHICKEN!!
Since our move to the country, our goal has always been to be as self-sufficient as possible and to grow/raise as much of our food as possible. At the very least, we want to have a better relationship with our food and know exactly where it comes from. I am sure we aren’t the only ones.
With the help of our friends at Leystone Farms, we are taking that next step and will be raising our own meat chickens AND in the spirit of community, we would like to share some with you!
We can only raise a limited number of chickens, so you need to let us know now if you’d like to pre-order for next year. Here’s how it works:
- The chickens will be $7/pound and they tend to grow to 3-4 pounds in size
- You need to commit to a minimum of two chickens
- Pre-pay $20 now to secure your order. Pay the rest when you pick up the chicken from Leystone Farms this summer. (Sorry, we can’t ship them.)
